ABOUT ME
Annette Robinson, RN

 

Annette is a Graduate of the University of Connecticut (UCONN) with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She is expertly trained in empowering her clients in getting through health challenges by working within the body’s natural healing processes, and using nutrition and lifestyle modification as therapy. She is also certified practitioner of Energy Mirroring, a hands-off technique that stimulates the body’s natural healing response.

She is currently  training to practice Health Counseling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods. Her certification is pending and will be completed in June, 2010.

Annette is also in the process of becoming certified as a Quantum Biofeedback Specialist.

Her experience includes: counseling clients in hospital settings and privately in her South Royalton, Vermont office, and she is known for her ability to translate complicated health information and sharing new ideas in an easy-to-understand and down-to-earth manner.

As a nutrition counselor and health educator in Central Vermont, Annette has taken her life-long passion for natural foods, active living and the healthy Vermont lifestyle, and created programs that jump starts her clients to living a healthier life. Her enthusiasm and love of her work results in a down-to-earth and practical style of counseling and teaching.

She has led others to finding their own path to wellness using nutrition counseling, personal coaching and over 20 year experience as a professional nurse. She helps others in achieving more energy, making better food choices and reducing the symptoms of chronic aches and pains, all in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

Annette’s counseling style is relaxed, engaging and focused. As a working mother, wife and active ski instructor, she brings a deep understanding of modern-day challenges and shares practical solutions for the concerns of American life today.

Annette currently counsels clients in-person and via telephone and works with those who are ready, willing and able to experience lasting change in their personal health. She has been professionally counseling others to succeed in diet and lifestyle since 2000.

“My mission in conducting my work is to bring the essence of the healthy Vermont good life to everyone.

I was able to make dramatic and long-lasting health changes after moving to Vermont in 1978 and I have a passion for sharing the lessons I’ve learned and take pride in shortening the learning curve for my clients who desire to live a healthier and more relaxed life, no matter where they live.
